Things are opening up here in Los Angeles and business slowly returns back to where it used to be. For the past year, jogging pants were my go-to. Slipping in a pair of skinny jeans feels a dash uncomfortable and wanting me to wear my joggers all day long.

Tulle skirts are not only for Carry Bradshaw from Sex and the City but for everyone. I love wearing tulle skirts because anything is possible when wearing these skirts. The pairing combinations are endless. You can pair them with a crop top like myself, a graphic tee, or a sweater.

It's already April and this means it's my hubby's birthday! We are planning a day trip to Plam Springs and take out dinner from PF Changs. We haven't been to Palm Springs in a while, and I can't find to visit again. It's one of my favorite places in SoCal for a little getaway.

I am a summer child through and through, and my least favorite seasons are fall and winter. The only thing I like about colder temperatures is the possibility to layer up. Speaking of layering, my favorite piece during fall is a jeans jacket. A Jeans jacket is the perfect cover-up to transition from warmer to colder days. I prefer an oversized cut because it looks more effortless, plus it allows you to layer clothes more easily. But how to style a jeans jacket without looking too basic?
It's a snow day

On Sunday, we decided to take a spontaneous trip to Lake Arrowhead since I was in desperate need of a scenery change. Since it had rained so much, the mountains were covered in snow. That sounds like fun! While I emphasize my dislike of snow, I don't mind spending a few hours in a winter wonderland. Lake Arrowhead is about a 1 ½ hour drive from Los Angeles, so perfect for a day trip.
Point Vicente Lighthouse

Did you know there is a picturesque lighthouse in Ranchos Palos Verdes called Point Vicente Lighthouse? The perfect place to visit on a Sunday afternoon. You can’t actually go inside the lighthouse but the area around is pretty. The lighthouse is located on a cliff overlooking the ocean. On a clear day, you can Catalina Island and the Channel Islands. There is a hiking trail following along the coastline.

Happy Friday! I haven’t gone to the office in over three months and instead work from my home office. This also means my wardrobe changed instead of heels and slacks, I wear sweats and slides. Despite the fact most of us still work at home, I want to show you how to use an oversized sweater and make it office appropriate.

The temperatures are starting to cool down, and as we said hello to September, it began to feel a whole lot like fall. Wishful thinking! I love summer, after all, I was born during this wonderful season, but I can't deal with 95 degrees heat. Especially when you have to work all day, and you slowly start sticking to your office chair. Meanwhile, my Dyson fan is working on full force.

Happy Friday! How do you guys deal with the heatwave? Since we don't have an AC our fans are running none stop. Especially our cats have a hard time with the hot weather, they usually just lay on the tile floor with all limbs stretched out. If you watched my Instagram Stories, you also saw that we started fostering two baby kittens.

We recently celebrated my birthday which was defiantly different than usual because of the pandemic. Typically, we drive up to Palm Springs over my birthday and hang out at the pool and go to dinner at PF Changs. This year was the first time in, I believe, five years that we did not do that. We made the best of it and celebrate in a beautiful setting in our backyard with a home-cooked dinner.

I recently tried a new Hello Happy Air Stick Foundation from Benefit Cosmetics. The foundation comes in a stick form and the texture is super smooth and easily blendable. Throughout the day the foundation did not cake which I love. The foundation has a medium coverage but is buildable. The foundation also has a SPF 20 and the finish looks super natural. I can definitely recommend this foundation.

We officially canceled our trip to Costa Rica and truth to be told it sucks. We booked our trip right before the coronavirus started. We were super excited but I guess now we have to wait until ... I don't know - the world returns back to normality? Here, in California, the stay at home order was just prolonged to the end of July. Does that mean no 4th of July Fireworks at Dodger Stadium? How are you guys holding up?

My content production is limited due to the fact that we can’t go out but I still have some unpublished photos on my computer. Let me start by saying how grateful I am for warmer temperatures and a backyard. Since we can’t go to the beach - I haven’t been surfing for what feels like an eternity - we hang out in our hammock in the backyard. There is nothing more relaxing than reading a good book and just laying in the sun. I also found a new workout on YouTube that works really well.

I can’t believe it’s already March. In a blink of an eye, two months already passed by. I am glad that winter is finally coming to an end, and I can’t wait for warmer temperatures to wear shorts and crop tops.

In today’s blog post, I’m going to show you how to style your boyfriend’s shirt, and I mean that literally.
There are days where I feel like grabbing my hubby’s shirt and style it in a very cool way. But how do you rock an oversized shirt? Every time you were an oversized item, whether it’s a shirt, a sweater, or a jacket, I recommend pairing it with a skinny bottom, so either skinny jeans or shorts. It’s also important to show that you have a waist when you wear something oversized. I like to use a belt and tuck in the front part of the oversized shirt to create shape and not to get lost in the garment.

Sometimes you don’t even realize the beautiful things that surround us. Way too often we take things for granted and oversee the beauty and everyday sceneries. Sometimes I have the urge to go somewhere far. It feels like I got bitten by the travel bug. Don’t get me wrong I love traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. Sometimes there’s not enough time or money to do these things. If you take a closer look you realize sometimes it only takes 2 hours by car to be somewhere completely different. We drove 2 hours from LA passing Lake Arrowhead to a beautiful hiking spot.

I can't believe that in less than a month it's already spring. Where did the beginning of this year go - it just flew by.
I feel like I barely arrived in winter. I don't like the cold season because it gets dark super early and of course it's cold. The only positive aspect about the cold months is candles ( I love to light up scented candles) and knitted oversized sweaters and cardigans.
