Why you need to have an Essential Oil Diffuser

Thursday, March 30, 2017
humidifier, organic aromas, essential oils

Hey Fashionistas,

I hope you are doing well. My week actually flew by and I can't wait to relax at the weekend.
Lately, I'm really into essential oils and humidifiers. Essential oils can help you with a lot of different things from healing stomach pain to lighten up your mood to removing stress and headaches.

I was recently gifted with a new essential oil diffuser from Organic Aromas and essential oils to put into it. The design is super sleek and absolutely gorgeous! It is made out of wood and glass and looks amazing in every space. I honestly haven't seen an essential oil diffuser that looks that cool.

Hey Fashionistas,

In today’s post, I want to talk about my current candle crush. I was recently gifted with a candle from Natural Light Candle.

Natural Light Candle is a company that sells handcrafted, beeswax candles which are made in Bali.

I got the Damask Hurricane candle in red and white and let me tell you this candle smells beyond amazing. As soon as I opened the package my room was filled with a rose scent without being overpowering. The candle’s scent is a mix of Moroccan rose, Middle Eastern musk blended with rose blooms and a hint of fresh green fauna.

This luxurious candle is the perfect gift for everyone because it is exotic and evocative. The burn time is around 40 hours and you can also buy the candle in ivory / white and black / white.

What I love most about these candles is that they have gorgeous designs. They are each hand painted making them unique and perfect for most home décors.

Hey Fashionistas,

Christmas Day is just around the corner so I thought I need a cozy fall inspired candle holder which will add the perfect touch to my Christmas decoration. Instead of going to the store I decided to make it a DIY project. I’m going to share a simple and pocket-friendly DIY mason jar candle holder. This project is also great and safe for kids. What I love most about it is the price! Everything cost me under $5!

What you need:

  • Mason jars, you can find $1 jars at the Dollar tree or the 99 cent store
  • Mod Podge
  • Brushes or you can also use your fingers
  • Napkins of your choice (yes regular napkins)

How it works:

1. Choose a napkin of your choice. I went with a pretty leaf and flower design. Cut out the leaves / flowers and put them on the side. You can also use real leaves and press them, but I did not have the resources of obtaining pretty real leaves.

2. Apply Mod Podge all over the sides of your jar.

3. Place your leaf or napkin design onto the jar and press into place. Brush over your design with more Mod Podge.

Use the flat end of your brush to create a stippled pattern in the areas NOT covered by your design. This step will create a pretty pattern when the light shines through these non-covered areas.

5. Let it dry and add a second coat of Mod Podge. Again use the stipple brush technique on the open areas.

6. Let the jar dry overnight. When dry put a tea light in your candle holder ( I prefer scented candles) and there you go!

My fall inspired candle holders and myself are ready for the X-Mas!
