chunky sweater

Hey Fashionistas,

The past few days have been cold. February is of the wettest months of the year and you can definitely see that. I also have been MIA for a while. I'm currently working on writing my first book YAY and this takes a lot of my time while still having a full-time job and trying to maintain my blog my schedule can get pretty full.

If you're at this right I'm trying to write my first book about marketing. Some of you might know that I work in marketing and over the years I accumulated knowledge that I want to share. Since I'm doing everything that myself from riding to designing it takes a huge chunk of my time. But my husband is super helpful (he is editing everything) and I couldn't have asked for a better person.

I am also suffering from tendonitis so whenever I type too much both of my wrists give up on me and I just have to stop working. For a workaholic like myself that it's pretty difficult. I am trying to relax. On the weekends and hang out with my husband. This weekend we stayed in because of the rain and of course Super Bowl. In order not to watch TV all day we play board games like chess.

So this is just a quick update on what I've been up to for the past couple of weeks and that's the reason why it got pretty calm on my blog.

This year is all about creating amazing content and sharing my knowledge so I'm going to invest a lot of time into these projects. I have more awesome things planned this year so you should definitely follow along. You can actually subscribe to my Facebook chat so you won’t miss out on updates.

This outfit I'm showing you in this blog post is one of my favorite things to throw on if it's a little bit cold outside but I still want to look stylish. It is super simple to put together and I'm a huge fan of oversized sweaters.

Black high-waisted jeans are stable in my closet because you can combine them was pretty much everything. The camel shade sweater can be worn over the shoulder or with a deep V-cut. In order not to get lost in an oversized sweater I always pair it with skinny jeans. Sometimes an oversized chunky knit sweater can look like a potato sack on you so I recommend tucking in the front of the sweater. Wearing a belt with metallic details will make your outfit look more sophisticated.

Lately, I'm just throwing my hair in a messy bun almost every day because I'm trying to grow out my bleach blonde hair. I love being blond but the days for bleached hair are over for me because it really took a toll on my hair. Trying to maintain bleached hair is very difficult it's very dry and I just feel that my hair doesn't look as healthy anymore. In the next few months, I am planning on getting a balayage and going a back to be a little bit more natural.

I am waiting to go to the hairdresser because I just pierced my ear a few weeks ago. I got a helix and this takes some time to heal and to be pain-free. As of right now it still hurts when touching it.

Especially during the colder months, I love to pair boots with my outfits. I got these boots last year after trying on probably every single shoe in the store. Last but not least I grab my bag and  I am ready to go!
