how to style a maxi dress

Hey Fashionistas,

Happy Wednesday! We are halfway through the week and I can’t wait for the weekend. I recently started a new job and the first few weeks are always the busiest since I have to get to know everything.

Last weekend we went to the beach because there is nothing more relaxing than laying on the beach and listening to the ocean’s waves. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy on our beach day. Our Sundays are pretty much the same every week since my husband plays soccer in the morning. The rest of the day we just watch TV and eat.

Hey Fashionistas,

On Friday we went to Wurstkuche to celebrate my husband’s B-day. This restaurant is our sport to celebrate birthdays. The food is casual - sausages and fries - and you have the chance to sit outside on the patio.

stonger hope workout set

Hey Fashionistas,

Happy Friday! Today’s blog post is all about being active. I want to talk about my favorite workouts, active wear and how to stay fit if you don’t like the gym.

As you may know, I am not a GYM person. This might seem a bit weird considering the fact that everyone around me has a gym membership. Of course, I tried different gyms before and workout classes but nothing I could really commit to. The closest gym to my house is in DTLA and that is still a 20 min drive.

Hey Fashionistas,

Beach season has officially started! It is still not warm enough to swim but it is good enough to watch the sun go down. We all know beach sunsets are the prettiest! We went to the beach on Monday after work just on time to shot some images and to enjoy the sunset!

Favorite Pastry with Chicago Metallic Molds

home made apple pie

Hey Fashionistas,

Cooking and baking have always been a passion of mine. It is fun to buy all the fresh products and eat the outcome. My husband and I, love to bake for the entire family. Our fruit tart, lemon cake, and carrot cake are amongst the favorite desserts in our family.

The fruit tart is loved by everyone because it has a thin tasty crust and it is filled with homemade vanilla pudding and topped with fresh fruit. It sounds like a lot of work but it's actually very fast to make and it will blow away the foodies in your home. The following recipes are tailored to the molds provided by Chicago Metallic.

Hey Fashionistas,

Happy April! The flowers are in full bloom and the first warm rays of sunshine make their way through the clouds. This weekend we visited the Rose Garden as you might be able to tell from looking at the pictures.

I love being at the rose garden not only is it free (love it) but there is a constant smell of roses in the air. In Los Angeles, this is the perfect escape for a picnic. The park is next to USC and during the weekend you will also find plenty of ice cream and hot dog vendors in this area.
