The weekend flew by and it is already Tuesday! My weekend was pretty relaxed and of courses a bit too short! Hubby and I went on a 2.5-hour hike somewhere between Glendale and Burbank and we also did some shopping. I mean sooner or later I had to use the Nordstrom gift card I received for Christmas - to I ended up buying a bunch of shoes because one can never have too many shoes.
Besides shoes, I also love fun pieces like this sequin jacket. They keep my wardrobe fun and colorful. I always feel that pieces like this elevate your look and make it more interesting. Sure some people don’t always understand that this jacket or sequins are cool and might mention a dumb comment but trust me I couldn't care less and don’t listen to those people. You are unique and so is fashion - that’s the reason I always wear what I like.
One of my favorite combos is high waisted skirts with crop tops. Did I just reinvent the wheel? No, but I think it always looks good and it looks cute.
My look is a simple black and white combo with a sparkling piece. I love that this skirt, btw I found it on an H&M sale, is very thick so it doesn't really move when you walk. To make this look a bit more badass I love pairing my Sam Edelman boots to it. I love ankle boots they are more comfortable to walk in than regular heels and they always look a bit edgier. The entire look gets completed with a pair of aviator sunglasses and a red pout.
