First Pumpkin Patch

Hey guys,

This is the first time I went on a pumpkin patch and it was quite fun. We went to the one in Pomona. 

On that day we also went kayaking in Huntington Beach. We bought a Groupon for a 2-hour kayaking ride way back in summer but as always we wait until the last second to redeem it. But I guess that’s one of the advantages of living in so-cal it’s always warm. 

Today is Halloween but we don’t celebrate instead we are going to cook dinner and maybe prepare some sangria because tomorrow is our 5 year wedding anniversary. Five years just flew by...it’s insane.

I also can’t believe there are only two more months left in 2018. 

I love this outfit because it’s so simple yet stylish. Graphic tees are always my number one choice when it comes to tees. They make your outfit look more effortless while adding more dimension. 

I just recently got this windbreaker jacket from a brand collab. Windbreaker jackets are perfect for days that tend to be a little bit chillier at night.

Hey Guys,

Is anyone celebrating Halloween? We are not celebrating Halloween but I want to go to a pumpkin patch - I’ve never been to one before. I am just thinking about the awesome pictures you can take there plus who doesn’t love pumpkin soup?

We are planning on going to a pumpkin patch this weekend. I also want to carve some pumpkins - I also never done that before either. Growing up in Germany Halloween wasn’t popular and we never celebrated it there.

The week is almost over, YAY! It's mid-October and I am counting down the days until 1st of November. If you follow me for a while you know this is my wedding anniversary.

How to style a chunky sweater

It’s time to take out those chunky knit sweaters. I obsessed with knit and oversized sweater. I think they always look stylish and effortless. 

I got this sweater from H&M but I bought last year. My loafers which I love are from Marshalls. I love wearing loafers because I think my feet are weird. They are so delicate anytime I’m wearing flats the back of my foot gets messed up. Well, actually this also happened when I wear heels or sneakers. Basically with any shoes especially when they are new. So who can relate?

How to style a silk dress

Hey Fashionistas,

Happy 1st of October. In exactly one month we are celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary. I’m pumped! I always get super excited - so I started counting the days.

I’m pretty sure October will fly by just like September did. Honestly where the heck did summer go? I feel like it did not spend enough time at the beach or working on my tan.

Even though summer is my favorite season and I am total sun lover or how the urban dictionary would say: heliophile.

Regardless, I am so looking forward to November not only are we celebrating our wood anniversary but we are also going on vacation! I think we are seriously addicted to traveling the world but I guess who isn’t? I always joke with my husband and tell him that seeing new places and having the desperate urge to go somewhere far is in my nature. Since I remember my parents always took me on vacation. I guess growing up in Germany makes traveling easier because it does not take long to be somewhere completely different.  

For now, we are flying to Guatemala over Thanksgiving… but until then...I am doing my everyday work.

This past weekend it was surprisingly warm. Almost like summer came back for one more weekend before the rain is approaching us. At least that's what the weather forecast says. Truth to be told I wouldn't mind the rain - once in a while - it’s actually pretty soothing laying in bed and listening to the raindrops knocking on your window.

On another note my black dress is not only for summer days it's for every day. This sophisticated black silk dress can be easily worn with tights during the colder months or by itself. There are always those pieces in your closet that are just stable pieces. A black dress is one of them. This one has a pretty loose fit and comes with a belt. I can easily be dressed up with a pair of heels or dress down with a pair of flats.I paired this dress with my black and white coat from Zara. I guess I am ready for you, Fall.
