Make up Forever recently launched their new long-lasting and highly pigmented Artist Rouge line, a collection of 45 lipsticks (31 with a creamy finish and 14 with a matte finish).
I got three shades a hot red (M401) , a mauve color (C211) and a white lipstick (C600) from Influenster for review. I received these product(s) complimentary for testing purposes. The white lipstick is great for creating more dimension on your lip and blending a bit of white in the center of your lip makes your lip appear bigger and plumper. I am also using the white lipstick to create new shades. You can mix the white color with any lipstick shade and you will have created your own unique color.
For an everyday lipstick wearer like me, I was really surprised when I first tried them. The lipstick glides smoothly onto the lip and the color pay off is amazing. The formula of these lipsticks are so good that you forgot that you even wearing a lipstick. I wore the red matte lipstick to the office the other day and I didn’t even feel it on my lips. I drank my morning tea and I ate my typical salad for lunch and my lipstick game was on point. The formula is hydrating (macadamia oil, sunflower seed and carnauba waxes) and even though you eat and drink you don’t need to reapply the lipstick.
With 45 shades from nudes to crazy shades like black and white, there is something here for every skin tone and every liking. The lipsticks retail for $22 at Sephora so next time make sure to check them out.
