Watch: JORD Wood Watch

I was recently gifted with a JORD Wood Watch. Jord is one of the few companies that sell wooden watches.
Let me tell you a little bit more about the watch itself. The wooden watches are lightweight, elegant and unique. On top of that, the wood finish is gorgeous. I do not recommend taking this watch to the gym or the beach since the wood finish is more prone to getting dirty and since they are not waterproof it's best to stay away from water.
I picked the Ely Series in Red Sandalwood. It is crafted in an elegant deep red with silver accents. Perfect for every outfit and skin tone. What I love most about the JORD Wood Watches is that they are made out of sustainable wood.
In order to maintain the beauty of your watch make sure not to store the timeless piece in excess heat. High temperatures have the ability to swell the wood and cause it to crack. Same with leaving it in very cold temperatures since that makes the wood shrink causing breakage. Same with humidity. Humidity can make the wood swell or shrink increasing the possibility of cracking over time.
It is recommended to store your watch in the original box or in a jewelry box. In case your watch gets dirty just use a little bit of Tung Oil or lemon oil to gently clean the watch. Both items can be found in hardware stores or on the internet.
