I love everything that has faux fur details or is simply fluffy. The only problem I have with this style of clothing is that it can make you look a little bit bigger than you really are. Good thing, there are a few tips and tricks on how to wear fluffy jackets and sweaters.

Quite a while ago I fell in love with this blush pink fluffy cardigan. This cardigan is slightly oversized and if you style it wrong you can end up looking like Big Foot.

There are three tricks to look fabulous on furry clothes.

1. Heels
This is a no brainer. Heels are outfit savers and they will enhance your silhouette and lengthen your body. Heels are perfect for fluffy clothing because they add the right amount of chicness and sophistication to an outfit.

2. Skinny Pants
When wearing an oversized sweater make sure to wear tight pants to balance the look. This way you will avoid looking bigger than you really are.

3. Accessories
Step up your accessory game. I added a cute pink statement clutch from Nicole Lee (seriously loving this box clutch). The clutch looks feminine and super stylish. Accessories help to enhance the look while adding personality to your outfit.

Whenever you walk down the street no one will dare to judge your fluffy coat because you will look like a fashionista if you use these three tricks.

While it feels like spring in Southern California, the rest of the US is probably freezing cold. Yup, life can’t always be fair and warm but stylish. That’s the reason why I have more ‘what to wear when it’s freacking cold outside’ post.

From early meetings in the office to Happy Hour cocktails after work this outfit is perfect. The flooding blouse with wedges makes this outfit office appropriate while the leather details add edginess and fun.

The olive green coat, which I love, looks super sophisticated and sleek. The only pop of color I would add to this look is a bright coral red. BTW this color works great on blonde, pale girls.

How To Layer Clothes

Winter is the season for layering – a style that not only keeps your warm, but also adds an interesting and fun aspect to your outfit.
I decided to keep my layering look simple. So I put on a pair of really warm tights, a long top with lace details at the bottom, a black sweater jacket, and a neutral colored cardigan. My look gets completed with a cozy faux fur vest and a black scarf.
If you want to master the layering look keep in mind that neutral colors are very good for layering as they have low saturation and calm down bright and intense colors, which gives you a harmonious look while bright colors will become a statement in your outfit.

How Lipstick Can Transform Your Outfit

For some of us, Winter is already gone and all we can think about is which bikini to wear for the beach. But basically, everyone who does not live in southern California might still cover up in big jackets and sweaters.

I love to wear turtleneck sweaters during the colder season because they are cozy and comfy. My feet are constantly craving heels but that might not be the best shoe to wear when it’s snowing or raining. So I switched my beloved heels for a pair of wedges.

I recently bought a bunch of Colourpop’s ultra matte lipsticks and I love them. They last all day, they don’t smudge and the colors are super saturated.

I love the way lip colors can change your look in a second. BTW I’m addicted to purchasing new shades but my significant other has a different opinion about this. Anywho, I do what I can with what I have. I’m wearing a dark brown matte luquid lipstick and I think it gives the outfit a touch of an evil Ice princess.

I find that a lip shade can bring new life to an outfit with not much color. Take some time and find a shade that best fits your attitude and style.

You already made a reservation at your favorite restaurant to have dinner with your loved one but there is one last piece of the Valentine’s Day puzzle you still have to figure out – what to wear. Whether you have a date with your husband, girlfriends or the guy you just met, dressing the right way can make a huge difference. I put together a fun, flirty and a bit sexy outfit that fits every occasion.

Red is the color of Valentine’s Day so I decided to go with a short red dress. In order to bring out the sex appeal to my outfit I put on my over knee socks and a pair ofheels.  The black cape is the perfect balance to keep the look sophisticated and polished. The leather gloves are pretty lady like and compensate for the skin you are showing. Last but not least I grabbed my black leather bag and I am ready for my Valentine’s date.
