Yesterday my husband and I were driving through LA and we decided to go for a little afternoon hike in Elysian Park. This park offers a beautiful view of the city of Los Angeles. The viewing area ‘Angels Point’ is facing to the west, which means you will see a stunning sunset. I love sunsets and let’s be real here who doesn’t. The magic lasts about five minutes but those five minutes are fairytale like. The falling sun is coloring the sky into blood orange hues, leaving the skyline of Los Angeles.

For our afternoon hike, I decided to wear my black zebra boots. The boots are perfect for hiking there are comfortable while being super stylish. I decided to wear black denim and a simple burgundy knit sweater over a white flattering blouse. The hat adds the finishing touches to my look. This outfit is perfect for a walk in the woods. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t look stylish while you hike. Be creative but also don’t forget to be comfortable since you do have to walk a little.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year and besides fashion I also love to cook. My husband and I have been preparing the thanksgiving feast since yesterday and we can’t wait to eat the delicious meal with our family.

On Thanksgiving I like to wear something feminine while having enough space for the food. This year I’m wearing a cute floral dress with short sleeves. For the past few days the weather has been cold and windy so I styled my dress with black tights and my comfy Uggs. To stay casual I threw on a zipped hoody. 

This outfit perfectly covers your satisfied stomach after you ate all the turkey, roast beef, ham, the countless sides and mouthwatering deserts.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. For me, decorating my house is the second most important thing right after the actual feast with my family. So what is better than a few items under $30 to bring that Turkey Day vibe into your home.

How To Wear Over The Knee Socks

Over the knee socks are the perfect way to show off some skin during the colder months. This outfit is stylish, young and fun. This look is perfect for everyone who wakes up in the morning and thinks, “I have nothing to wear”. Simply because this outfit consist out of three essentials everyone has in their closet. It is a simple outfit with a glamorous twist.

The look starts with a black pair of over the knee socks. Since it is fall you can find them everywhere in stores.

The look consists out of three basic items: a skirt, a white shirt and a jeans shirt. I decided to wear my faux leather skirt because it gives the look an edgy feel. The white shirt is actually a long sleeve because I’m always cold. I simply tucked the shirt in the skirt. This is an easy trick to make your outfit look more polished.

Instead of a jacket I grabbed my denim shirt. Denim is the perfect piece to tone down a look and to add a casual vibe to your ensemble. To enhance the street style look leave the shirt unbuttoned.

There are some outfits that do not require a bag but I feel that this outfit definitely needs a purse. I’m not the biggest purse fan but if I do carry one it better be awesome. Just like this cute faux furcross bag. What I love most about this bag is that you can wear it as a cross bag or a clutch. This fluffy clutch adds the right amount of uniqueness to my outfit while looking sophisticated.

Last but not least I paired my comfortable wedge boots to finish this fall look.
