I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! As always I enjoyed the Holidays with my Family that is based here in Los Angeles. And being married to a Mexican means lots of Tamales for Christmas, which I absolutely love.
But sooner or later the ever day life catches up to you and I have to go back to work after a 4 day weekend. Sometimes this could be difficult to get out of bed especially in winter. It is cold and dark outside. What helps me get out of bed in the morning is not only the smell of breakfast but also my clothes. That sounds funny but I love to dress up. I am not a person who puts out an outfit the day before although I should start doing that (it saves time). In the morning I usually go trough my closet and let the clothes speak to me. Today, I decided to wear my new green coat.
With the weather being rain and quit cold I love to layer up. Although the sun is shining most of the time I can’t get warm. Luckily, I got this amazing long green coat. My coat is from Jolly Chic an online boutique with a variety of cool clothes. I decided to get this Long winter coat because I don’t really have a lot of long coats and I love how elegant they look.
This wool coat is thick and warm but most importantly the coat is a real it-piece. I love the little details on the arms and the big buttons in the front. This coat fits every outfit but I decided to wear over-knee socks and a black dress. My approach with this look: chic and sleek back to the office.
